richie and i found this Awesome dress at goodwill and we knew we'd have a blast with it doing some fun TTD stuff! i'll also be heading to DC soon to play with liz leighton to let her do some TTD ideas she's got! here are a couple shots from last week richie took..... i am SO in love with these! <3
well the weather held off for ashley and davids amazing wedding at berry hill!! the rain threatened all day long, but their outdoor wedding went perfectly! how lucky are richie and i to photograph a gorgeous couple in a stunning location..... ashley and david, heres a few sneak peaks from your day!
sunday afternoon richie and i got to do another fabulous engagement session, this time with one of our december couples, shannon and eddie. they were super cool to work with and were so willing to try out any idea we had, and to put up with all our sillyness! heres a sneak peak of some of my favs from their session....
i feel incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with chloe... we lived in the same apartment complex and she babysat for my kids while i worked nights at the hospital. my kids... LOVE ... her. all the time they'd beg to go over to chloes even when i wasn't working. nathan, her fiance, would play guitar hero with my son brenn, and his face would just light up when he saw nathans car in the parking lot....
not long ago, nathan proposed to chloe and immediately they were planning their wedding... in ITALY! we joked about richie and i going over there to shoot it, but then one day the joking turned into "hmm... COULD we work this out??" well we DID and we ARE headed to italy....
chloe and nathan wanted to do an engagement session at two of their most important places... UNC-Chapel Hill campus, where nathan went to college, and then on their farm, where they will be spending the next part of their lives...

on oct 10th richie and i have a wedding at berry hill estate in virginia! we wanted to take some time on this gorgeous day to make a trip up there and walk around and check out different areas we'd want to shoot. here is a collection of shots of this AMAZING place.... ashley, your wedding here is going to be STUNNING!!! we can't wait!!
as much time as we spend shooting, editing, posting, and keeping up facebook and flickr, we try to stop every little bit to get some shots of just... us. zack wasn't in a very good mood, so we kept it short and sweet... but these are a few shots i really fell in love with...

richie and i found this amazing OLD trencher at an antique shop last week! my first thought was "its HUGE!" but richie wanted it regardless so it became ours.... i knew exactly what i wanted to do with it, but i needed a baby that could SIT and lil zack won't be that big for a little while longer. so on facebook i offered a free session to the first person who grabbed it with a 6-12 month old. my awesome friend chloe immediately signed up her niece taylor! ironic thing is, i took care of taylors mom when she was in labor!! (for those who don't know, i'm also a labor and delivery nurse) :)
despite the rain on and off we managed to get in a quick session.... here are just a few of MANY that i love.....
